SKIN REGENERATION
What is Derma Rolling?
It’s a microneedle roller. As you roll the microneedles across the surface of your skin, it creates micro-punctures along the dermis and epidermis skin layers. Activating an acute inflammatory response to stimulate cell generation and the body's natural the healing process.
Microneedling
Derma Rolling intentionally stimulates your skin's natural healing response by activating skin cell regeneration and regrowth. Increasing blood and oxygen flow across the surface of your skin for renewed healthy skin.
Calcification Regulation One of the primary benefits of Derma Rolling, is its profound ability to heal scars. By intentionally inflicting micro-wounds to the skin, the process of calcification (scar tissue) is downregulated. Derma Rolling turns down what are known as “calcification inducers”, while increasing Growth Factor Beta 1 & 2; and also up-regulating calcification inhibitors.
DERMA BENEFITS: Increase absorption of nutrients from your favorite skincare products– as you roll, blood circulation to the capillaries in your skin dramatically increases. Therefore, any moisturizers, serums or masks you use will work even better as the nutrients in them are driven to your skin cells.
Skin Regeneration
Make your skin younger– your skin will not only look younger; it will actually be younger on a cellular level. Microneedling leads to the release of growth factors which stimulate the formation of new collagen (collagen synthesis), and elastin in the papillary dermis. In other words, it renews your skin cells, creating younger, healthier, flawless skin. Regenerate new skin cells and blood vessels, it’s like a cellular makeover for your skin. Eliminate scar tissue, stretch marks, cellulite, and minimize pores– along with any other inflammatory issues of the skin, acne and other blemishes.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Angiogenesis– Also known as the formation of new blood vessels and capillary networks that provide oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells; derma rolling aids in this process. This is hugely beneficial to the skin, considering that most aging issues of the skin (wrinkles, pigmentation, sagging) are caused by decreased oxygen and blood flow to the skin cells. Derma Rolling reverses this process, helping the body produce new blood vessels, and providing starving skin cells with more blood, oxygen and nutrients.
HOW WE ROLL
Step 1: Disinfect your roller
Disinfect your derma roller by letting it soak in 70 percent isopropyl alcohol for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 2: Wash your face
Thoroughly cleanse your face using the Alitura Pearl Cleanser. If you’re using a derma roller with needles longer than 0.5 mm, also wipe down your face with isopropyl alcohol before the rolling process.
Step 3: Begin derma rolling
The technique is very important, so listen up and roll with us!
Roll in one direction 6 to 8 times, depending on your skin tolerance. Make sure to lift the roller after each pass to prevent the dreaded “track marks”. So, roll in one direction. Lift up. Repeat. After rolling in one direction, repeat the process in the perpendicular direction. Following treatment, apply the Alitura Gold Serum.
keeping it clean
Cleaning Your Derma Roller It is very important to sterilize your derma roller between uses. You can do so by using isopropyl alcohol or hydrogen peroxide; we recommend using isopropyl alcohol. Simply submerge your roller in a cup of alcohol for 1 to 5 minutes. You can then let it air dry or shake off the excess liquid prior to use.
Make sure your skin is completely recovered before starting another session!
